The hottest pepper on earth

Currie’s help for curry

The Currie in the heading is Ed Currie.  He claims to have grown the hottest chili pepper on earth with a SHU value of 1.569 million.  You will never guess the location where this pepper is grown (Full story is here.)

If you get hold of some of that Habanero chilies (or even something with lesser SHU value), the culinary experiment to try is to make a curry with plantain bananas.  This also happens to be one of the variations proposed for the preparation B1, in A Short Course in Culinary Experiments.

Yep, this is very likely to be a “hot” culinary experiment.
